Connect a Helpdesk

Integrate Keva with Help Scout and other helpdesk platforms

If you already use a helpdesk platform, you can connect Keva to work alongside it instead of using direct email integration.

Currently, Keva integrates with:

Prerequisites

  • A Help Scout account with API access
  • Admin permissions in Help Scout
  • A Keva account

Setup Steps

How It Works

Once connected:

  1. New conversations in Help Scout appear in Keva
  2. Keva responses are sent through Help Scout
  3. Status changes sync in both directions
  4. Tags and assignments are preserved

Using Both Systems

When Keva is connected to a helpdesk:

  • AI responses go through your helpdesk's email infrastructure
  • Reporting is available in both systems
  • Team members can use either interface
  • Customers see consistent branding from your helpdesk

Disconnecting

To disconnect a helpdesk:

  1. Go to Settings → Integrations
  2. Find the connected helpdesk
  3. Click Disconnect

Disconnecting stops sync but doesn't delete historical data in either system.
