Manage your Keva subscription, usage, and invoices

Keva offers flexible pricing based on AI-resolved tickets. Monitor your usage, manage your subscription, and download invoices from the Billing page.

Overview

Billing is based on AI resolutions - tickets that Keva's AI successfully resolves without human intervention. Each plan includes a monthly resolution allowance with overage pricing.

What Counts as a Resolution?

A resolution is counted when:

  • AI sends the final reply that resolves the ticket
  • Customer does not reply within 48 hours
  • Ticket is marked as solved

These do not count:

  • Draft replies requiring approval
  • Human-sent replies
  • Tickets resolved by humans

Accessing Billing

Navigate to Settings > Billing. Requires billing.view permission.

Managing billing requires billing.manage permission.

Current Plan

The Billing page shows:

  • Your current plan name
  • Monthly resolution allowance
  • Billing cycle dates
  • Next invoice date

Usage Monitoring

Resolution Counter

Track your monthly usage:

  • Used: Resolutions consumed this billing period
  • Remaining: Resolutions left before overage
  • Overage: Additional resolutions beyond plan

Usage History

View historical usage:

  • Monthly resolution trends
  • Overage frequency
  • Cost breakdown

Usage Alerts

Set up alerts at:

  • 80% of resolution allowance
  • 100% of resolution allowance
  • Custom threshold

Managing Your Subscription

Upgrade Plan

  1. Go to Settings > Billing
  2. Click Change Plan
  3. Select a higher tier
  4. Review prorated charges
  5. Confirm upgrade

Upgrades take effect immediately with prorated billing.

Downgrade Plan

  1. Go to Settings > Billing
  2. Click Change Plan
  3. Select a lower tier
  4. Review changes

Downgrades take effect at the next billing cycle.

Cancel Subscription

  1. Go to Settings > Billing
  2. Click Cancel Subscription
  3. Confirm cancellation

You retain access until the end of the current billing period.

Payment Methods

Add Payment Method

  1. Go to Settings > Billing > Payment Methods
  2. Click Add Card
  3. Enter card details
  4. Click Save

Update Default Payment

  1. Find the card in your payment methods
  2. Click Set as Default

Remove Payment Method

  1. Find the card to remove
  2. Click Remove

You cannot remove your only payment method with an active subscription.

Invoices

View Invoices

All invoices are listed in Settings > Billing > Invoices with:

  • Invoice date
  • Amount
  • Status (Paid, Pending, Failed)
  • Download link

Download Invoice

Click the Download button to get a PDF invoice for your records.

Invoice Details

Each invoice shows:

  • Base plan charge
  • Resolution overage (if any)
  • Taxes (if applicable)
  • Total amount

Enterprise Billing

Enterprise customers have:

  • Custom resolution allowance
  • Dedicated account manager
  • Annual billing option
  • Custom payment terms
  • Volume discounts

Audit Trail

Billing actions are logged:

  • billing.plan_changed - Subscription updated
  • billing.payment_method_added - Card added
  • billing.invoice_downloaded - Invoice accessed
